Los Olivos

Los Olivos Historic District

Los Olivos was conceived by Dwight B. Heard.  The neighborhood consists of just 14 houses, making it the smallest historic district in the city of Phoenix.

The Los Olivos Historic District is located on Monte Vista Road, between 3rd and 7th Street.  Most of the houses in Los Olivos are rather large, averaging around 2800 sq. ft.  Each house is of custom architecture, in a variety of styles.  This is one of the older districts, which has several houses built in the 1920s and some in the previous decade.  This well maintained neighborhood is well worth a visit.
