The F.Q. Story Historic District 2023 annual neighborhood yard sale will be on Saturday, March 11th.  This is an excellent opportunity to tour one of Phoenix’s best historic districts.  See great examples of historic houses, including many classic bungalow style homes and pick up some cool stuff!

2019 Grand Avenue Festival

The 11th annual Grand Avenue Arts & Preservation Festival will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2019!

Enjoy the “Under the Vintage Roof” Historic Building Tour on Saturday, November 9, 2019 with three start times: Noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. The tour, part of this year’s Grand Avenue Festival, is free of change.

The festival is a free event.  It features art installations, historic building tours, mural projects, galleries, street performances, food trucks, fashion shows, and arts and crafts stations.

2020 Willo Home Tour

The 2020 Willo Historic District Home Tour will happen on February 9, 2020.

The Willo Home Tour won the Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix Reader’s Choice award for Best Home Tour for 2018 and 2019. Phoenix New Times named the Willo Historic Home Tour as their favorite see-and-be-seen old-house extravaganza. The tour features beautifully restored historic homes representing a variety of styles and eras, including bungalows from the ’20s, modified ranches from the ’50s, Tudors and Craftsmans and adobes.  There will be a street fair featuring local vendors.  The Willo Historic Home Tour has a trolley that will take take participants around the neighborhood.

Willo Home Tour

The Willo Historic District Home Tour will be on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Once a year, the Willo Historic District invites residents and Valley visitors to have an inside look at some of the unique homes that make up the neighborhood. Willo is Phoenix’s largest historic district consisting of over 900 homes. Willo is bordered north to south by Thomas and McDowell, and east to west by 1st Avenue and 7th Avenue.
